Another VTEC solenoid problem P1259

Hello to all. This is my first repair post question. First I only use Honda OEM parts and used Mobile 1 5w20 in the first oil change since I have purchased it. It has 183k and did not have this problem when I test drove it. I keep getting a P1259 CEL. It goes into limp mode around 2700-3000 rpm. As this forum instructed me, I replaced the VTEC solenoid on the back of the motor which was one of the oil leaks I was looking for. Made sure the gasket was removed and the old screen was very clean. Unfortunately the CEL came back on with my next outing. I then replaced the oil pressure switch just below the VTEC solenoid. Again did not fix the CEL coming back on after being cleared. I then pulled the VTEC oil solenoid on the side of the motor and cleaned and then checked with battery power and it worked. Put back in and still got the same CEL after being cleared. I disconnected the battery over night just to see if a full discharge would help but all other times I used my code reader to clear the codes. Same thing happened. Additionally I replaced the spark plugs and gas cap but don’t believe they have anything to do with this. Additionally the code won’t come on immediately if I clear it and wait for it to cool down but if I clear it and drive it warm it comes on pretty quick after I start the drive. Also if I pull over and shut it off and turn it back on it rests to normal operations for a few minutes and then goes back into limp mode. Questions:
1. Do you think I should replace the side VTEC solenoid even though it worked during the test. Thinking maybe the heat makes it go bad?
2. Could a tight valve cause this?
3. Could the wire harness get hot and cause this?
4. could there be a hundred more things that can cause this?
thank you in advance for any help or insight you may have on this. It is starting to get to me. Just running out of things from this forums searches.

Well I think I fixed it. Three is a charm. I have now change the “valve assembly, VTC Oil Control #15830-PNC-003. Have not had A CEL during an excessive test drive. So I am super excited at this point. Thank you for your insight and encouragement! On to the next thing!!!

Well the CEL came on again. Another question. Will the screen by the power steering pump on the front of the motor be the problem. I’m going to look at the harness, but just read about it. Thanks as always for the help!

Just to confirm, you already replaced 15810-RAA-A03, yes?
Yes that was the first thing I replaced, then I replaced 37240-PTO-014 and last I replaced 15830-PNC-003. I purchased but have not replaced 15845-RAA-A01. That is the filter/screen on the front right of the motor next to the power steering pump. Thank you in advance for your help.
