Auto to Manual Conversion

I have found basically no information other than generally applicable information on how this is done, but here's my story. (And before you comment trying to reason with me, I'm stubborn and determined. Let me live) I have an auto 2006 CR-V (awd if that matters) and I'm planning on doing a cylinder head swap among other things later on down the line. Since I can score an RSX transmission for relatively cheap, and with these kinds of builds concerning KPro manuals are heavily preferred, what parts (other than the obvious transmission, clutch, flywheel) will I need to do this? I plan on getting some sort of "donor" car so it isn't an absolutely grueling process.

Certainly sounds ambitious. Your biggest challenge may be explaining the change to the car's computer.

All wire connections OK? (I remember folks adding intermittent wipers on a Fit...they could use an Integra part but needed to move the position of ONE wire)

Another experience: we converted a car to MT but the needed captive nuts were not welded to the body. BOY, was that a 'trial-by-fire'!

OK, I've done the automatic to 5 speed conversion to my 91 Jaguar XJ-S about 8 years ago. They sold in a kit form for that car. Also Ford , Chevy & VW bug's. Advice to you is a donor car otherwise chasing down parts is almost impossible. You'll probably need the donor computer, speedometer calibration also you may need crankshaft work for the trans pilot shaft & bearing . I 've "been there done that" Anyway sounds interesting .
