What about Roof Rails?

 

I actually took the roof rails off. Now I just need to trade plastic roof rail moldings with a base model that has the uncut ones so I don’t have to buy new ones.

 

Did you take everything off to spray it? I was looking into just getting the chrome deleted by getting it wrapped. But the guy quoted me $300. I'm considering doing it myself, but I like your idea better.

 

I actually left everything on the car and just masked it off good! My biggest advice is make sure to mask and sand very good. Once thats done, the most important thing after adhesion promoter and primer, is to use paint that reacts well with 2k clear coat. Using 2k clear coat is what hardens it, won’t chip off, and gives it a beautiful glossy finish.
