Hello. Does anyone know the material of the CR-V brake hardlines?

Its just that I’m about to replace my rusted lines on my Toyota and was curious on this.

Double walled, copper lined, copper brazed mild steel Bundy tubing. Aftermarket tubing can be purchased with a zinc plating. You can use stainless brake tubing but it's very difficult to bend and wouldn't recommend it for home projects unless you have the equipment and skill to fabricate it.

The materials you mentioned, I’m not sure if they would rust in the later years but I’m guessing they would since steel is part of it. Im just trying to prepare for this when the time comes.

I’m going for the copper nickel lines which doesn’t rust at all and can be bent without using special tools.

Thanks

You asked what brake line material is on CRVs and of course they will eventually rust, Honda has the lines epoxy coated to delay corrosion but they will succumb to the elements and road salt. C70600 copper alloy brake lines has been DOT approved but you have to be careful as to the supplier. Like everything else you buy online there are suppliers that may sell tubing that probably don't meet DOT specs.
Edited: Note to others reading this, regular copper tubing is illegal for brake lines. It simply doesn't have the burst pressure rating and it more easily stress cracks unlike copper nickel alloy tubing designed for brake line use.
