I bought a Honda CR-V Mk III 2.2 iCTDI seven months ago and overall have been really impressed with it so far and have had no issues but recently when I start the car the passenger side mirror keeps clicking, it only stops if I turn the engine on and off repeatedly or quicker to pop round and push the wing mirror backwards then use the open and close wing mirror button and then it stops and it's fine. Is it a common fault and has anyone experienced the same and solved it thanks in advance

Turn the mirror backwards slightly against the direction you were pressing when you heard the clicking, then with you window down press the mirror glass by hand (NOT TO HARD) in the direction you heard the click ….. Just a little bit. Then try your buttons again. You may have to push the mirror by hand again in the opposite direction. Bit of trial and error until you find the sweet spot and no clicking is heard.
