Thanks, JB! :) I did telescope the steering wheel out, and that seems to help a little bit with the legroom... Wasn't aware the steering wheel came out, thought it only adjusted up/down.

Now, if I could just get this darn center console to stop banging against my knee! This one could be a deal breaker.

Gonna see if I can mod a pad or something to cover the knee airbag "cushion" that is there, which doesn't provide much cushioning! :(

went on a 2,500 mile road trip as the driver in a '19 EX AWD last week. the outside of my right knee rubbed too. it was uncomfortable for sure. i'm only 5'9". it's not my ride, and i must say it was a very nice companion on that trip. can see why the current CR-V sells so well.

I'm too short/small for the knee issue, my issue is all about the lack of lumbar support, which really does tire me out. But for the knee issue, I believe the Japan model comes with cushioned versions of that knee piece. Not sure you you would order it though, perhaps ebay has knock offs?

That knee piece looks like it's separate but it's actually the whole piece of plastic going from the firewall forward to the cup holders. It's easy to remove... but you can't replace that last looking part on its own.

I had the same issue. Especially when using adaptive cruise conrol. For a brief time i though buying this crv was a mistake. Than i bought this. Problem solved. I may need one on the other side too tough.

I am 6'-2" and have this issue as well. It's not so much the legroom as the cause, it's the length of the bottom seat cushion. Instead of my entire upper leg being supported by the seat, half of my upper leg is left without support, so end up resting against the console. Some cars offer lower seat cushion extenders, which I have tried, and when my entire upper leg is supported, there is no issue.

Something like this;

for me: Am tall. good thing was the push button. no more getting my knee to the key. the base seat is hte Key, it should manuever in a way that you'll get more room, it does not do that . so if you can not figure the position that is what we are dealt with.
