Year? Garage have wiring diagram?

 

2010 garage has huge computer that plugs in to car.

 

If bulbs are ok do the cabin/map reading lights switch on? Even if the interior lights don't come on with opening doors?
I had an issue with my interior light not coming on when I opened doors shortly after I bought it.
I managed to track it down to be the switch behind the actual cabin light. It appears to be a common problem as you say. I replaced the switch and its great now. My bulbs were OK and I was stuck too.
Here is the link to what I purchased. Simple enough job to do. Its worth a shot if all else is OK.

The switch could have failed altogether so the interior light may not work for either application. I would try these first before the 'multiplex module'

Hi I have replaced the dome unit as it gradually all faded away, first doors then map lights one by one. Switch has been replaced in dome unit.
