I have looked.....and looked. Maybe operator error on my part...but does anyone know where/how I can find out what power adapter I need to utilize the power above the mirror, inside and behind the map lights? I seem to find conflicting answers depending on the manufacturer (eg FitDVR, Dongar, etc). I have seen 12pin type B, 3 pin, etc. I simply don't want to run wires and use fuse taps if I don't have to. Have any of you used one of these power adapters and know what specific connection/harness to get? I don't need parking mode....I just want a simple, clean install that doesn't interfere with what has been largely a low maintenance car. Mine is a 2013 EX AWD.

You need a 7-pin adapter. This is the one I just installed. Very easy.

I have a Dongar adapter that i no longer use, it was purchased for our 2020 CRV which we traded in. I have another one for a 2019 Insight that my son has. Both use the 7 pin plug to the back of the mirror. Very easy to install, about as long as it takes you to unplug the connector from the back of the mirror.

I have no need for it, will ship to you if you pay for shipping. I think I paid $37 for it from Amazon.
