Does someone have a tape measure for a new owner?

Hi there - I just put a deposit down for a new 2010 CRV EX! I became concerned that the height with the trunk door open may hit the ceiling in our garage. Would someone be so kind as to measure the height of the car with the rear door open? It would put my otherwise thrilled mind at ease

My 2008 measures 80 inches.

I've got a 2010.

I checked the tailgate on my new CR-V LX. It measures 81 inches high when open.

I added a small piece of foam, leftover from computer packaging, to my garage door. I prevents the tailgate from hitting the door.

i think if your garage is a normal size garage, u should be ok.
when i open the hatch of my 07 inside the garage, there is more than enough room. even my sienna van, when the hatch is open - more than enough room.
