Hello lovely 4th gen owners! I'm in need of some assistance in replacing this part on my 2016 CRV AWD. It seems as if there is only information on 2012 through 2014 replacements online. My Haynes manual doesn't seem to be much help either. I'm running codes P0497 and P145C.

In the Haynes manual, my first step is to remove the high-pressure fuel pump cover and bracket. On earlier models, you remove the engine cover and air filter housing. I can not seem to find what the high-pressure fuel pump cover and bracket are as there are no diagrams on this in my manual. In addition to this, when i go to the section about removing the high-pressure fuel pump i am instructed to first,
  1. relieve the fuel system pressure and the pressure inside the tank
  2. set the engine to TDC and rotate the engine counter clockwise 105 degrees
  3. on 2015 and later models, remove the PCM bracket bolts from the vehicle and position PCM out of the way
  4. THEEENNN, I can remove the cover and bracket for the high-pressure fuel pump
Are all these steps necessary just to take off the cover and bracket? Am I even capable of doing any of that on my own at home?
