Although must say, looks rather good in black too.

 

Never used it before so I'm not sure if that will work. I'll look into it.

I don't mind the Black or Carbon but I prefer to keep the original look. Knowing that one little part is different from the rest might drive me nuts. And I don't want to change the entire interior trim. At least not right now.

 

This would probably match very good. Use an adhesion promoter if necessary.

Thanks, but I am holding out hoping there is an easier peel and stick type of option or finding the actual replacement part. I am pretty sure the cracks will still be visible even if painted over.

This isn't a huge issue for me but I'd like to make sure I exhausted all options before making a decision. I'd hate to go with the black panel and find out later that silver was available.

I'm a little hesitant with using paint. I feel too many things can go wrong on my end.

Or are you guys saying to buy the black and paint the new part? Maybe I missed the obvious.

Hey JM did you end up finding the panel in grey? I have the exact same issue with my 2018 EXL CRV. I thought it was due to heat, but interesting about the air freshner!

No I didn't find it in Grey. I bought the black and just laid it on top wothout using adhesive. It has stayed in place.

If I ever find Grey I can easily switch it out too.
