Back when I was changing points and condensers I was lucky to get 15,000 miles out of a set of tires.
Radials improved things.
Back when I was changing points and condensers I was lucky to get 15,000 miles out of a set of tires. We used to have to change points and condensers every 15,000 miles too.
So glad I got rid of the Bridgestone Ecopias after only 2500 miles. Put on Crossclimate 2s. We have a snow storm today and we'll see how they do.
I put up with the Bridgestones for 25,000 miles before replacing them with CrossClimate2s. I've had the Michelins for over a month and think they are great. Although I live in the recent storm zone, I didn't have to drive so I didn't.The Crossclimate 2 is very similar to my Crosclimate SUV. Can you please let me know how it performs in a heavy storm area, I live in Chicago and we get that kind of weather too.
They are both rated at the top, but if you look a little closer the numbers are better all across the board for the Michelin's except for the treadwear. You can contact Tire Rack and talk to one of their experts.Thank you, I am considering new tires purchase and noticed both Continental CrossContact LX25 and Michelin CrossClimate SUV are neck to neck tie. Which one would be a better choice?
I thought the tires did quite well. I was cautious and didn't want to be too over confident first time out. I will say the tires did quite well in the snow. I'm glad with the decision I made running the Crossclimates year round rather than getting a dedicated set of snow tires.I put up with the Bridgestones for 25,000 miles before replacing them with CrossClimate2s. So flipd4crv, how were the CrossClimate2s in the snow?
