Hey everyone, soon-to-be 2024 Sport Touring owner here. I put a deposit down on a platinum white one a couple of weeks ago. I was (am?) torn on the color. I actually like quite a few of the colors, but had the hardest time deciding between the platinum white and urban gray. And now I've seen a lunar silver and a meteorite gray one driving around, and they're all tight. I don't know, I guess I'm sticking with the white since that's what I put a deposit down for. Sounds like it will be a couple of months before I get it, though.

I'm coming from a 2014 VW Jetta TDI Sportwagen. I was initially planning on sticking with VW and getting a Tiguan or a Taos, but I've been reading and hearing about too many major issues. When I started looking around and saw the redesign of the new CRV, I decided to give one a test drive and I absolutely loved it. Plus the whole hybrid thing is appealing to me since I do so much driving. I've already spent a handful of sleepless nights wheel hunting and trying to determine the best way to black out the chrome trim around the windows – I'm still unsure.

Anyway, I've been lurking the forums for a couple of weeks now and have found some really good info, so I finally decided to join!

Hi and welcome.
I have a white 2023 Sport Touring because white is a classic safe color to buy for me at least.
I find the color easy to maintain, stays cooler in the the hot south and offers high visibility for other drivers.
Added bonus in my opinion is that if you sell or trade your car every so often, white is universally accepted by any potential buyer.
We have owned a few white Hondas the latest being a 2020 Passport and I have to say that the gloss on our 2023 CR-V is quite high and noticeable. I wonder if Honda added more gloss additives.
You are going to really love your Sport Touring. Honda hit a home run with the 6th. gen styling.

Hi!
I’m now a loyal Honda owner. I bought a certified used 2002 Odyssey (sage gray, fantastic van with V6 and a subwoofer), a certified used 2012 CRV EX-L (black), and now my first brand new Honda-2023 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring. I LOVE it. I didn’t want black again (love black, but it was a pain to keep nice and it was hot in Baltimore summers). I considered white-honestly, I don’t generally like white cars, but the CrV has always looked sharp in white. I was leaning towards Lunar silver because they are easiest to keep looking good, don’t get as hot, and tend to hold value. I like the silver Honda chose. It’s not green or yellow (like some silvers), and it’s a very light and and bright silver. So when I contacted the dealer, and the only new CRV they had available was a hybrid 23 Lunar silver, I drove it and went for it.
I think you’ll love the white-the ones I’ve seen are not cream at all. Just a metallic white-which likely helps hide dirt with the metallic finish. Let us know how you like it, and if you stick with the color!

I was a bit bothered with white (got a good deal on it) at first but I've gotten used to it (keeps itself really cool in summer). Especially since I bought the black matte rims for it. Now our whole neighborhood is littered with white cars: Mondeo ST, X4, Polo, RAM pickup, GC, NX, Qashqai, CH-R + possibly something else and that's just my immediate vicinity.

Having had several pearl white cars in the past I've always found them very easy to detail and keep looking nice in the long run. You'll love the white for a lot of reasons, but it is an extremely forgiving color if you forget to wash it for a week or so... It is really slow to show dirt or dust and if you keep a coat of wax on it, buffs up great after a bath.

Greetings!
I joined a few weeks ago as well. I was conflicted about the buying my first hybrid but the knowledgeable folks here helped me decide. I had read so many conflicting things online I decided to ask the people that actually drive the vehicles. That said, I put down a deposit on a 2024 Sport Touring in Canyon River Blue 😃
