Hi,

DPF warning light came up and I bought a new one.
Forced regenation was made to new DPF.
After 300 km drive warning light came up again.
If you turn off the engine, light dissapears most of the times.
Service guy says DPF is not blocked and says that car has done the regeneration also while driving.
There is an error code, which says there is too much mass inside the DPF
Pressure difference sensor says everything is ok. Pressure difference sensor is also tested with hand pump, that it works.

Question is, what are the sensors, which measures the mass inside the DPF ?

Always possible, but from my limited knowledge, those two items dont usually cause an issue if a DPF has been replaced.

You can definitely rule out the DPF being clogged. Happy to be wrong, but I still think its worth resetting the ECU and clearing the codes. Thats the easiest fix. You dont want to be throwing money at MAFs/sensors if you can avoid it.

@UK-Kev @Tricky Dicky 69 - are you kind chaps able to pitch in with your extensive knowledge? (y)

Right, I will jump straight in here: -

1/ When you had your new DPF filter fitted was the ECU relearn conducted for a new DPF system?

2/ Has the DPF pressure sensor differential backpressure been checked? If yes, what result did you recorded.

3/ Has the DPF pressure sensor pipes been cleaned and checked for blockage?

4/ What current active error codes do you have?
