Honda CR-V 2017 fuel tank capacity, is there a reserve?

I got Honda CR-V 2017 (UK) 4GEN - in user manual it says fuel tank is 58 liters capacity but maximum what iam able to fill many times is only no more than 46 liters ... what happens to rest 12 liters??? is there a 12 liter capacity reserve?

Also small middle section information screen will go alert until 40 liters remain till zero and gas refill sign will show up on dashboard.

Yes, they usually build in anywhere from 1-3gals for a reserve. So once the fuel light comes on, you have anywhere from 20-60 miles potentially before being stranded.

On our CR-V, the most amount of fuel I've ever put in was like 12.5gals. Our Odyssey has a 19-19.5gal tank and the most it's ever taken is ~17 gallons.
