Manual seat adjustment bar

Recently bought a 2015 CR-V LX with manual seat adjustment. My wife is 4' 11" and is having difficulty adjusting the driver's side seat forward and back (mostly forward). She likes to move the seat all the way back to facilitate getting in and out, not a problem since gravity always wins. However, she finds it difficult to reach down and lift the bar when trying to move the seat forward. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas how to make the bar more accessible?

Don't know about accessibility, but when moving the seat forward, I find it helps to hold the lever with one hand, and pull the steering wheel toward me with the other hand. I definitely find that easier than just trying to push against the floor with my feet.

You could try spraying the seat tracks and locking pin pivots with a white lithium grease. It could simply be a snack of lubrication making it difficult. If there's a bunch of dirt in there, in might help to clean that out too.
