Hi Everyone:

Last week I purchased a 2020 CRV from the dealership. My Civic broke down and I was forced to buy something dependable. I am planning to use this car as my commuter and vacation car. I did not realize when I purchased it that getting a roof rack system with rails would be so hard to find. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to find Honda/OEM Roof Rails and Rack? I keep reading that they are discontinued. ITS A NEW CAR AND ITS ALREADY DISCONTINUED? Kinda going crazy here looking. any help is greatly appreciated. Dont want to tell wife yet that the car will not carry all her luggage. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum RancorRich! This has been discussed, and is quite bewildering. Apparently Honda has been closed lip about the availability of the rails. Guess you will be with your wife about it as well! Sorry, I couldn't help myself! LOL

I have run into this SAME exact problem for my 2020 CRV hybrid. I actually emailed for a while with someone at the OEM parts website about the roof rails. He pretty much said they're not bringing back the rails and that the crossbars (w/o rails) is what's replacing the option indefinitely. Which is lame because (1) the crossbars only have a 100lb weight capacity and (2) are very limiting for more rugged experiences. So after researching and debating I bought off-brand rails off ebay for a pretty good price. The seller is well-reviewed and in the states. I'm hoping they fit. I literally ordered them a few days ago. The cool part is they're in black instead of silver. I anticipate getting the Thule Evo Crossbars set with the goal of putting a rooftop tent on my CRV. Hope this helps! I struggled with finding a roof rack solution. I'll let everyone knows how the rail install goes. I'm so bummed they discontinued the OEM rails.

I'm also discussing something similiar on this thread too:

I just posted this rack that I got to use on a Hybrid, looks good and solid. I plan on modifying some older Thule accessories to fit onto these rails. Supposed to be rated to 160 pounds

I looked into Hondapartsnow.com and they seem legit and they go by honda specific part numbers. Honestly you can copy and paste the part number in your browser.

Do your research, searching by part numbers alone can bring up many different prices.

And remember cheaper isn't always better(learned that the hard way lol)

Goodluck.
