Yeh, had a sneaky feeling this was a 4th Genner....

 

Strange because the audio unit manufacturing date is December 2017 and the car is registered in March 2018. But the connector is from old models (2012-2016).

They are sending me another set of wires so hopefully that will work but not sure till i try.

 

If that is what you have bought, then no amount of wires will help you.

That image is a 5th Gen car. Yours is 4th Gen, Swindon built. Not only will you lack the wiring, this unit will NOT sit flush in your dashboard either.

Suggest you ask for a refund.

 

I think you might be right. Having said that do you have any suggestions for a compatible unit?

Got to ask. What features are you trying to add?

4th gen US models without factory Nav, can get CarPlay added on a diy basis.

 

Also, how do i know if my car has power amplifier and subwoofer? Most of the systems i am looking at do not support subwoofer.

 

If I'm correct, the SR will have a subwoofer under the front passenger seat.

There is no (external) amp that I'm aware of save that which may well be in-built into the headunit.
