Paint Code - not main colour

even if you call the dealer with vin# they can't give you the trim paint code?

you could always call a parts store there and ask for their silver paint chips, if they have a paint counter, for Hondas and go outside and try to match it up; that's what i do almost every day when someone refuses to give me their paint code OR their vin so i can called the parts counter at a dealer. The thing with silvers is that you have to really look at and compare the shade of silver, the size of the flake or metal in it so these make it hard to match.

I normally use Autocolorlibrary to see the paint chips online but sometimes they don't list them all.
