Hi,

The other day I put the Reverse in a parking lot and a car was passing through and my parking sensors didn't beep nor show the orange arrows that indicate something is coming from that direction.

I checked the radio camera, and it shows the 3 different camera views icons at the bottom left. And in the bottom right is another icon I suppose to toggle on/off that feature. It was toggled on (green) and is not working.

Any idea if there is something toggled off or if it is a failure?

Are we talking about parking sensors or cross traffic monitor ? You mentioned the orange arrrows so that leads me to think you are asking about the cross traffic monitor. Below is some information on the cross traffic monitor.

You can switch on and off the system using the audio/information screen. 1. Select . 2. Select Settings. 3. Select Camera. 4. Select Cross Traffic Monitor. 5. Select On or Off, then select OK. The system can also be turned on and off on the audio/information screen by pressing the CTM icon. Page 555 of the 2022 CRV manual.

Mine CRV occasionally does not alert (no arrows/no beeps) to cross traffic. That's why I use my eyes to scan the back up camera view as I reverse the vehicle.
Yes sir -- always use your eyes. Here are some listed concerns about the cross traffic monitor directly from the owners manual: As you can see, Honda places the responsibility on the driver.

Cross Traffic Monitor may not detect an approaching vehicle, or may delay alerting you under the following conditions: • An obstacle, such as another vehicle and a wall, near your vehicle’s rear bumper, is blocking the radar sensor’s scope. • Your vehicle is moving at the speed of about 3 mph (5 km/h) or higher. • A vehicle is approaching at the speed other than between about 6 mph (10 km/h) and 16 mph (25 km/h). • The system picks up external interference such as other radar sensors from another vehicle or strong radio wave transmitted from a facility nearby. • Either corner of the rear bumper is covered with snow, ice, mud or dirt. • When there is bad weather. • Your vehicle is on an incline. • Your vehicle is tilted due to a heavy load in the rear. • Your vehicle is reversing towards a wall, a pole, a vehicle, and so on. • The rear bumper or the sensors have been improperly repaired or the rear bumper has been deformed. Have your vehicle checked by a dealer. For proper operation, always keep the rear bumper corner area clean. Do not cover the rear bumper corner area with labels or stickers of any kind.
