When I do some maintenance or replacing a part on my car, I like to watch several Youtube videos first. But when I actually do the work on the car, I don't want to take the gloves off, go back to the video, search for the right info, gloves back on, etc. I like to write out what I'm doing on paper so that I can have it there at the car. Plus this allows me to write other info on the paper to update my notes for next time, like torque specs, socket sizes needed, etc.

So I'm passing on my favorite videos and my notes (attached) for others to enjoy.

See procedure attached.

This is how I did a timing chain replacement on a 1996 Altima at 18 years young with no mechanical knowledge.
Watched videos, took lots of notes on a small notebook.
Wrote down tools I needed
Did the job and didn’t care about getting the notebook dirty.
Altered, added, removed notes while doing the job.
Nice to hear others do the same.
Great that you shared this thank you.
