Hello

Wanted to see if anyone has or had been successful in using part# 52395-S5A-004 to replace the rear upper knuckle bushing on a 3rd gen CR-V? This part number is for the 2nd gen CR-V and Element's.

I came across the following post to which the OP was looking for the same information and contains helpful photos identifying the issue plus location of the bushing:
"Looking for Rear Control arm bushings, can't find them anywhere!"

Looking at measurements, the bushing appears to be about 4.9cm long or 1.93 inches and the diameter appears to be about 4.1cm or 1.63 inches. Finding 1 measurement online for part# 52395-S5A-004, the full length of the bushing seems to match up, but not sure about the diameter.

I know for the 3rd gen CR-V's Honda does not sell a replacement bushing, instead they sell the entire knuckle. If possible, I'd rather replace the bushing rather than go through the process of removing seized bolts, a rusted CV axle, stuck bearing, etc. which will end up being more costly and laborious. At the moment for me, the control arm bolt is seized to this rear upper knuckle bushing and I'd like to install adjustable rear control arms.

If the Honda part does not work, is there an aftermarket equivalent that people have had success with?

These people claim to have one for your vehicle, see what you think. control arm bushing
Thank you for taking a look into this. I think I came across that site when doing research, but they don't provide any dimensions so I'm a bit hesitant to buy it.

I did find the following link where the person had done measurement for part# 52395-S5A-004, but it may not be long enough (4.7cm vs 4.9cm) so the upper arm would have to squish a bit when tightening the through bolt.

I did grab a used 2012 CR-V knuckle from the junkyard with low KM's and I'm considering just going through the process of removing everything and swapping it in. Dimensionally it appears to be the same as the 07-11 wheel bearing fits, the ABS sensor fits, the bolt holes for the caliper bracket are the same and the bolt holes for the mounting to the lower arm are the same.
