REAR WIPER MOTOR

Hi, My Wife has a 2008 CRV EX 2.2 CTDI and couple of days ago she switched on the rear wiper.
It wiped and stopped parked upright and after was dead.
I have checked and replaced the 10 amp fuse, as it was blown. Once replaced the wiper runs very slowly and generally stops in the upright position. On the Diesel Variant I cannot see a relay for the rear wipe to check so I have had the rear tailgate cover off and checked the connections at the plug. I have also had the cover off the side of the motor and there is nothing obviously wrong that I can see. Plenty of a very light and clean grease in side the motor casing. when powered up the motor runs exactly the same with no wiper arm or load of any sort. I have noticed a few old posts that have been up for a while so it would appear to have been a fairly common fault.
I assume the easiest remedy will be to replace the motor complete and hopefully forget about it again for a few years!
Any Thought would be appreciated.
Cheers

That was my thought, as it's a pain to remove trim etc. Thing is ÂŁ300+ from Honda or I have one saved from E-bay motor factors for ÂŁ69!!!! Thanks fro the reply TheDarkKnight
