Agree that regular washing and also waxing and immediately touching up of chips will hold corrosion at bay. Surface corrosion is expected but it can be held at bay And minimized for many years.
My 2004 Acura TSX is over 20 years old (new in spring 2003), has approx 150,000 miles in Ontario Canada and it gets washed weekly. Hand washed weekly including inside of doors except for touchless car washes when temps are below freezing. It is also waxed at least yearly and any chips are touched up promptly and the car is also driven daily. There is rust on interior only of both passenger doors at the bottom and a little on the seam at the rear bumper on the drivers side which is common for this model. I have been applying ACF-50 every month or so for the past few years to these affected areas and this has held the corrosion at bay.
Photo was taken last summer. You need to look pretty close to see the small amount of rust at the bumper seam.

It is a six year old vehicle. Unless Honda has a recall in place for corrosion, I doubt you will get any traction with Honda. Even brand new Honda's, paint finish is a one year warranty except for actual factory defects endorsed by Honda. Corrosion is generally not a factory defect, it is an environmentally induced defect.

Further, any superficial rust on painted finishes is not structural and hence unlikely to be eligible for a safety recall.

I too have a six year old CRV. I have no rust anywhere whatsoever. Then again, I live in a temperate west coast climate, so no snow, no salts, and my CRV is garaged at night so no nightly cycles of nighttime moisture.
