My '25 updated at home successfully. Pls let us all know what you finally find out.

 

If the OTA update fails the dealer can update the system with a usb

 

I had a similar issue and the dealer did a factory reset on my infotainment system and then the update went through OK. Of course, I then had to reconfigure everything!

 

So I took the CRV to the dealer this morning. They assured me that Honda Tech was going to assist in the repair. I received a call 2 hours later indicating that I need to put up with the error message for now as there is not an update available yet???????? I’m a bit frustrated to say the least.

 

I wish all the updates on anything would stop. Not just cars. I guess that is how they make jobs for programmers keep fixing stuff that doesn't need fixing.

 

Not that long ago you bought electronics, and you were stuck with whatever code that was in the firmware for the life of the product. Now you can get updates that fix bugs, improves performance and add new features. Yes, occasionally there is a glitch, but I think it's worth the price. Sometimes the glitch is in the mind of an old man who isn't comfortable with technology. Then again, if it doesn't need fixing, you don't have to do the update.

 

'24 touring hybrid having what sounds like the same issue. At the dealer last week and asked them to update. They got the same error. Then informed me since I am past 36k miles it would be billable to figure it out.

<sigh> maybe the next update will fix the update problem.

 

yeah i went in, they did a factory reset, and nothing was fixed. They also told me I had to wait until the next update...

 

its not a big deal, just a update for the radio/display. nothing urgent
