Taillight Assembly Replacement

I have a 2018 CR-V. The tailgate's driver side red LED taillight is out. What I need to replace is not the easily accessible 'back up light' bulb that you simply get to from removing a small plastic panel inside the tailgate. It is the long LED break light that is part of the same assembly as that bulb. I can find the assembly part (part #: 34155-tla-a01) but no instruction for how to replace the assembly. All I find is in the manual page 591 "Taillights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly." Does anyone have instructions for how to remove or replace this assembly? Is it similarly as involved as this you-tube video for replacing the middle lid light? or is there an easier way to remove it from the outside without taking apart the whole gate's interior paneling?

if you need to pull that inner trunk lid light its not hard you pull the plastics startingn from thr top, then middle, then lower trim (pry tools) no screws
Once they are off you’ll see the 4 bolts (if i recall holding the light but first you’ll have to
remove the chrome garnish running across

if your handy it should take you more than 20/30 min

if you were in nj i’d do it for you lol
