The TPMS can be calibrated easily by following the steps outlined on Pg 505 of the owners manual (downloaded version). I had to do this during a long highway drive this summer when the TPMS warning appeared while driving on I75. I quickly exited to check my tires visually and all seemed normal. Before starting my trip I had reduced pressure in the front tires to 34 PSI and left the rears at 36 PSI. I don't know if this may have triggered the TPMS warning, but it didn't show up until after I had been driving halfway through the second day of my trip. Fortunately I had read about the calibration requirement and after performing the procedure, the warning went away and did not return. Below is the text copied from the manual:
Models with Display Audio
You can calibrate the system from the customized feature on the audio/information screen.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON *1.
2. Select .
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Vehicle.
5. Select TPMS Calibration.
6. Select Cancel or Calibrate.
When the calibration is complete, the display returns to the customization menu screen.
*1: Models with the smart entry system have an ENGINE START/STOP button instead of an ignition switch.
