Practice, keep it front loaded so it doesn't sway, practice, keep your speed down, practice, remember that braking is going to take more effort, practice, don't go over your recommended tongue weight, you might want to avoid overdrive to save wear and tear on the transmission, go over your mechanicals meticulously, be prepared for a flame war with ones who will tell you to never tow with a CR-V blah blah blah, and practice!

If it's your first time towing a bike, do a search on the proper ways to tie down the bikes.
Don't put too much pressure on the handlebars. They bend easily. And the throttle control may get stuck. I avoid the handlebars at all and tie to the lower triple clamp.
Number two is not to compress too much the suspension.

Well, as someone who tows a ton with a CR-V, it is crucial to properly distribute the load on the trailer and ensure you are not towing above the weight limit the vehicle can handle, I believe the gassers have a weight limit of 1500-2000lbs (500-750kg) without brakes and 2.2k - 3k lbs (750-1500kg) with brakes. Try to stay around or under 60mph/100kmh. If you are towing towards the top weight limit, stay around or below 55mph/80kmh. This is especially true for heavy loads with single axle trailers. Try to evenly distribute distribute the load with 55-65% of the weight to the front of the trailer, never load all the weight to the rear. When you get ready to hit the road double check your safety chains, connections and lighting. Always secure your load!

I have been towing trailers for 20 years or so. My best advice is to just load up the trailer and take it somewhere where you can really get to know how your car will respond. When I first pulled a trailer, my father made me go on some back country roads and perform maneuvers. Pulling is all about feel and control. Get to know your load before hitting the highway or heavy traffic areas.

Note, that the tow capacity is only 1500 lbs. Take it easy.

I'd be tempted to replace the ATF before leaving, at the minimum.
