Type 2 Coolant Shelf Life

Does Honda Long Life Type 2 coolant have a shelf life? I have some unused coolant still in the jug that is at least 10+ years old, and am wondering if it is still OK to use.

Asking because we are taking the CRV on a 2,000+ mile round trip starting tomorrow and noticed this morning the reservoir level was below the"min" mark. Is okay to top off the reservoir with what I have, or should I buy some fresh coolant? Thanks

You would probably be OK using it, it's glycol-based, not organic. An unopened container has an essentially unlimited shelf life.
But your container is not unopened. While it would probably be OK, paranoid types like me would just buy a new jug.
