I have a 2019 CRV Hybrid and it has been great. I have had a problem with the Infotainment system, but the dealer did a reset/upgrade and it seems to have cured it. I had a deflation light come on about 2 weeks after the service and when checking the tyres found they ere incorrectly set at 45psi. I lowered them to the correct pressure and told the dealer. They asked me to bring the car in if it happened again. I had to have a new tyre and after it was fitted the deflation warning keeps coming on. Honda have said I should change the other tyres to suit. Seems awaste of 3 perfectly good tyres. Any suggestion to get rid of the deflation warning. I have not bothered to reset it as it just continues to go off. My other issue is the fuel gauge/range indicator.

I usually don't fill up until I am at about 50miles left in tank on range indicator. So on Friday my car was at 58miles on range indicator. So off to the garage on Saturday. As we drove down the road the low petrol warning light came on. No problem, as iIdrove up the road the petrol gauge appeared to go up to about a quarter full and the range changed to 114 miles. Very odd. When I drove to t the garage and stopped at various junctions. At one of them the range went back to 57 miles and the tank indicator returned to almost empty. Then the low fuel indicator sounded. I filled the car with fuel and it took 47 litres which is almost the same as the last 3 times I have filled up. Has anyone experience a similar issue , and what have you done about it ? Thanks in Advance

I don’t think you’ll get rid of the TPMS warning as it’s looking for rotational speed differential between your wheels. A new tire mixed in with worn tires will trigger the warning because it is different in diameter. Best to replace in sets.

And to add one additional comment: if replacing an old tire with a new one, it needs to be the same brand, model and size tire or TPMS, and frankly your traction control systems, will go nuts.

You can do a single tire replacement with Honda TPMS and traction control systems IF the new tire is within 3/32 of tread depth in comparison with the old tires AND it is the same brand and model tire. I've done so with no issues in the past. But if you mix in a different brand and/or model tire, that will not work. Sometimes tire shops will offer to shave tread on a new tire if the tread difference is more then 3/32 on the new vs old tires, but I have never personally tried that.

Always run a recalibration on TPMS when any tires are replaced, rotated, or air pressure is adjusted. Simple to do and prudent to do. A good tire shop generally will do this for you, but owners can do this easily through the settings menu for the vehicle.

Honda is right - the Deflation Warning System will continue to trigger if you have different branded tyres. They need to be the same.

The range will vary on driving style. Stop-start driving nukes predicted range.

The system is working as designed.
