I have a 2022 EX and was wondering if it's possible to upgrade to LED headlights as well. Will the touring edition parts work?
I'm about to acquire a 2021 EX and would like to also change to LED's since the halogens are not good. I'm coming from a '22 4 Runner so its going to be a big change, but I'm going to make it work at least in the short term. Excited for better mpg.

Hello, I have recently purchased a used 2021 EX-L and the first thing I want to upgrade are the horrible LED round fog lights. I'd like to put in yellow bulbs, or from what I've been researching is swapping it out with maybe a 18/19/20 round traditional h11/h8 light and bulb? Anyone done this?
You won’t be able to swap out the bulb..I was able to install Morimoto 4banger on my 2022 after some cutting/soldering.

As for the yellow film, I have some lamin-x film precuts for my other car that I bought off eBay. Not sure what they offer for the CR-v, but easy on easy off if not to my liking. We’re an inexpensive option.
I used some extra scraps of Lamin-x I had laying around, as they still don't have anything precut available for the Hybrid LED foglights. 😎😎😎

They do, however, offer precut film for the standard, round foglights:

I find that so many oncoming cars now blind me with their bright lights, that I wonder if they’ve all changed bulbs or just drive all the time with high beams on.

Does anyone know how man k the stock Led fog lights are on the 22 CRV. Trying to find an exact match to swap the halogen headlight bulbs for LED bulbs. Checked the manual and all it states for the fog light bulb is LED.

soo i was thinking of changing our 2020 exl lows to LEDS simply because I hate how honda changed the fogs light to white LEDs but kept low beams to be halogen white lights. SO my question is will I also have to change the main housing? ist going to have to be a full conversion? If I don't do this, will I be blinding oncoming traffic? as personally I hate when this happens to me and wouldn't want it happening to others (although not gonna lie, part of me is thinking if you cant beat them join them). I was also reading up on whitish halogen lights, while I know they wont be as white as LEDs, at least its not gonna be weird having warm white lows with the white DRL and fog lights on.... if so are there any recs for whitish halogens? there seems to be a lot in amazon, so I'm not quite sure what to get...

I installed these: Product Result

Big improvement for low cost.
do you mind sharing which one you specifically bought?and was it just "plug and play?"

I found, for my 2022 EX, that all I had to was find the LED from Amazon, for my specific model, and it was a direct fit. It was much easier than I had imagined.
Same here---literally took me about 2 minutes. However, I have gone through a few (returned them) because I thought they would be a bit brighter. Have 2-50 watt (14000 Lm 6000K) and though they're bright, still not as bright as I expected them to be.

Hola!

Whats the question lol
might be referring to my question, regarding if its necessary to completely replace the headlight assembly when switching to LEDs for low beam. looking at the price of assemblies tho, is pretty oof...
also considering whitish halogens (I'm aware they won't be as white as LEDs). My main concern is how the low beam is warm white while fogs and DRLs are white LEDs. Im not too concerned about changing the high beams as I seldom use them anyway

I'm currently looking at LA Plus Series H11 H9 H8 LED Bulb 60W 6000LM 6000K Amplified Flux Beam|2 Bulbs

apparently they made this with the intention that its plug and play and would work on the halogen housing?

When i did the retrofitted touring lights the 2017-2019 were over $1000 a piece due to honda offering them only on a few trims.
In the upgraded 2022+ units they are almost half the price due to larger production

the 2022 (non led strip fogs) are very bright, my mom and neighbor both have and was one of the first things i noticed and didnt look great with the non touring headlights .

you could always purchase a few lights in diff kelvins off amazon, keep the closest match and return the others. Eyeballing it id say it was 4300

if im way off the question shoot me a dm
Having my coffee and not 100% up yet lol

The assemblies are over $750 a piece now, and not sure what else you need to do the OEM upgrade. I don't drive at night much so it really doesn't matter to me. Also, those plug and play Amazon LEDs are illegal in many states.

I bought the OEM Touring headlamps (approx ~$900 from online OEM parts website) and the adapter harness from a guy on eBay for ~$100. I sold my OEM Halogen projectors on eBay for $400 so only cost arount $600 total for the upgrade.

Yes, and yes, if installed correctly. Lasfit brand is one of the better aftermarket led manufacturers. I did one side at a time. Noted halogen beam pattern first, then replaced with these LEDs, then compared beam pattern and cut off and height of beam. Brighter—yes. My fogs are factory LEDs and combined helps with seeing deer on side of road where I live. No streetlights around. This, of course, is only my opinion. I’m happy with my decision. Have not gotten any oncoming vehicles flashing their lights at me. Just make sure you install correctly and have same beam pattern & height of old halogen bulbs. I did not have to adjust my headlights.
Hey, @Kratz74 do you have the same LEDs? And did you have the same install experience as me? Your input might help this person out also. If I had the $$$, I would have gone @clickb8 route.

awesome, I ended up getting those pair for my low beams, looking at the manual changing them is simple enough with just a CCW turn to remove and CW turn to install. Is it possible to misalign the headlights by just hand force?
