usb drive in 2016 honda crv lx

The usb drive in my 2016 honda crv lx is very small ( size of the micrco usb) and I don't have a usb adapter cable as mention in the owner manual to plug a flash drive.This is how it is since i purchase my SUV 3 months ago and I didn't bother check the usb drive until last weekend that something is missing to plug in a flash drive.Is this USB adapter cable an accessory that I have to purchase from the dealer/online or am I missing something to connect a flash drive.
If it is something I can purchase online could somebody please let me know the technical name of this adapter cable point me to a website where I can purchase this.Appreciate your time looking into my question.

PS - Attached the picture of the usb console to give a perspective what I have mentioned above

that's weird, my 15 EX only has normal usb ports inside the the armrest. Now the 2009 Civic i used to have, ex also, did have a box like that but there was a cable that stuck out; It almost looks like you're missing it

The 2013 has one. Cables can also be found at the Dollar Tree.

My 2016 CR has a full USB plug...it also has a mini HDMI plug.

Are you in Europe? Ours don't look like that. Mine has two regular USB connector, HDMI connector and the cigarette plug. I did a quick Google search and it seems like you're missing the cable that is attached.

Looks like someone pull it off yours. Have you tried to pop out the cover.

His is an LX. The EX and above have the HDMI, 2 USB, etc. The LX only has one USB and no HDMI.

The 2016 LX that I purchased new yesterday came with a short cable coming out of the USB you show with a full size female USB plug-in end.

My 2014 LX came with the USB pigtail to connect a flash drive. You are definitely missing it.

I agree that I am missing the cable similar to what ilovemyhonda88 mentioned.I live in Chicago and I was wondering if this can be purchased online or any store.I want to go the dealer only as a last resort since I have a feeling they might rip me off for this small cable/adapter which seems can be fixed at home.Can't find this item in honda e-store

Appreciate if anyone can let me the online availability or a store in the Chicagoland area where I can find this.
