I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can't seem to get it to work properly. When I hit talk button and ask Siri to send a text or read incoming message, it goes to dial a number I don't recognize. I can't get it to do anything! And how to do you enable notification of incoming email/texts? I followed the instructions on the manual several times and I just can't get it to work.

I am also trying to find out how these features work. Been to 3 different dealerships and all sales persons were clueless about Garmin, Apple CarPlay, and Siri Eyes free. Seems impossible to find a knowledgeable sales person these days. Perhaps Honda should put out an instructional video on how to use these features.

The internet sales rep that helped me was pretty knowledgeable and was able to walk me through using Siri Eyes Free, reading texts aloud, Map routing, the Garmin, Apple Carplay. It honestly all worked really well immediately for me at the dealer.

The only thing that jumps out to me is that once you have CarPlay "active", you hold the talk button down 2 seconds to use Siri, etc. If you hold it less, then it activates the Honda/Garmin stuff.

I don't have instructions other than what I can remember..... I have not yet picked up my CRV. Probably next week. But if I recall, connect the iPhone to the left port with a lightning cable, the display will change to CarPlay. You'll get asked a question or two on the display (one time vs always). Then when you want to use Siri, you just press and hold the voice command button on the left side of the steering wheel for 2 seconds. I can't remember all the other details off hand. However..
