I see many folks posting about features that don't seem to be working in their CR-V. It's possible that the settings are not set properly.
I thought this thread might be a good place to explain and show a couple of pictures for general help. This also explains how you get the ability to set many features differently for different drivers. If you think you have the setting set properly, and it is not working as expected, it may be that you have it set for a different FOB than you normally use.
I believe that this applies to EX-L and Touring models. Basically, look at the back of your FOB,if it says Driver 1 or Driver 2, this applies to you. Pictures are from 2018 Touring.
I hope you find this helpful!
Many of the features can be turned ON or OFF, or modified, based on which key FOB is used, Driver 1 or Driver 2.
When you go through the settings menus, (Home, settings, vehicle, vehicle settings) be sure you have the FOB with you that you want to change the setting for that driver. (Driver 1 or Driver 2... it is labeled on the back of the FOB) If you normally use the FOB labeled "Driver 1" have that one with you. What ever settings you change will only apply to that FOB. If the other driver uses FOB labeled "Driver 2", then you have to change the settings for that "Driver 2" FOB... you have to have that FOB with you when you change these settings.
You will see "Driver 1 or Driver 2" at the top of the settings menu so you will know which driver your are changing the settings for. This allows you (Driver 1) to have the settings one way, and the other driver (Driver 2) to have the settings a different way.
The pictures here show the features than can be changed based on which FOB is being used. Note the "DRIVER 1" at the top. If Driver 2 is shown then you are changing the settings for that FOB.
