Vibration at idle or when in park.

When I have the car in park and the heat on the car vibrates but it doesn’t feel like it’s coming from the engine. It vibrates about 3 secs and stops for about 5 secs then repeats and if I turn the heat off it stops vibrating.

Not sure what it could be or if there is a fix. Or is it something I should just get use to

Simple diagnostics you can do.

Have you tried looking in the engine compartment to see if anything, such as hoses/pipes going into your cabin, vibrates at the same time?

Have you checked behind your glove box? When the glove box is open/removed as when you are changing your cabin filter, have you looked up into the area behind the console?

Have you removed your cabin filter to check inside?

As much as I love Honda and a fan, and having owned 7 or 8 and probably more in the future, I’m not sure if they use harder engine mounts or to do with how they manage fuel at idle, but depending on the load I have never found them particularly smooth at idle. Though oddly sometimes they are…What’s more is you might think ok warm up after start, sure revs higher or when accessories are on AC lights etc but it seems like sometimes what appears to be the same RPM one day is smooth and another day not. And this has been all of them perhaps other than my SiR Accord Wagon I had for a while.

Not sure how severe your vibration is but good luck finding it.
