Hello all, after a heavy rain, my 2008 CRV got a lot of water under the floor mat on the driver side. It was mainly under the driver seat and feet, but also some on the rear, always on the driver side.
My car has a sun roof. The rubbers on the sun roof seem to be good. Right after the rain, I found a bit of water in the frame of the sunroof, but now it's dry. The sunroof drains on the corners seem to be clear. I slid through a zip tie (advise from another thread), and it went through at least 4 inches. The roof liner is dry.
The rubbers on the driver window are dry and crackly. However, the door seems to be dry. I didn't take the panels out yet.
Can the water flow from the door into the cabin if the window weather strip is bad?
Usually, leaves pile up on the base of the windshield and I blow them away once in a while. May these leaves be clogging some drain underneath and letting the water go into the cabin?
I'm starting to take panels out. Thanks for any advice.
Mariano
