Retiring that old thread that started over a decade ago.

Newer one seems more appropriate as many old participants in the previous one have long since vanished...

2005 EX Manual, bought at 31000 Miles now on 40500 Miles, not sure what sort of mileage I am getting as I daren't compare it against my 1.6 Diesel Civic Tourer 😬
You have such exotic cars in the UK:
Civic diesel tourer??? Diesel CRV’s???

at about 236k km’s I’m not sure if my 99 CRV will ever make the high mileage club since I only drive it about 5k km’s per year 😭😭😭
It’s a slow battle against rust and decay.

2007 CR-V EX-L, Borregio Beige, automatic, michelin all season tires. 240,000 miles.
Last week had the left rear pinch welds rewelded/reinforced. Car looks really good and runs excellent.

Every fill up I put 4 ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas. Got rid of all valve noises. Keeps the original catalytic clean, 26 mpg average in warmer weather, 24 mpg in colder weather. Love these cars.

2014 EX-L
+/- 122,500

not a CR-V, but Honda: 2014 Civic EX, +/- 170,000 (so far, no major mechanical issues). even after gifting it to a young college girl...i had to bite my tongue every time i would go visit in her in Rhode Island. that weather isn't kind to ungaraged cars parked at or near the Atlantic Ocean. i still enjoy driving it now (she's back home in MO for her master's degree).

'06 CR-V (daughter's car - sophomore in college); bought with 187,000 miles just before Covid prices went nuts, now 202,000 miles. Runs great, no leaks. PO used it for Uber before it aged out.

Recently sold sister's '03 CR-V - base AWD model - to the neighbor. 107,600 miles. She lived only 1.5 miles from her work in a small town.
