2003 CR-V LX? EX? How do I discover the specs? (New owner)

Hello good people...I just purchased a 2003 CR-V. It's still in the shop getting the rear drive shaft replaced, front brakes, etc. So I'm just stating out on the CR-V trail. First question is how do I determine what I have? Might sound stupid, but I can find NO labels or insights describing Model (EX? LX?) Is this info included in the VIN#? Is it hidden under the air cleaner? Behind the spare tire? (Actually, I just thought of this, because I've checked everywhere else...) Do I need a secret handshake? What I'm wondering is how I can determine all the specifics associated with this vehicle I've just purchased. While registering on this site, I was presented with a poop-load of options about the vehicle for which I had no answers for and I need to know how I can find this stuff out. Any help would be most appreciated and I realize what a pain in the butt it is to deal with a newbie, but here I am and there you go.
Thanks for any insight you might be willing to share.

Thank you lizzurd for your reply. While the info provided is most appreciated, it still doesn't provide me with all of that seemingly 'insider' info that I'm looking for. The reality is that I've just purchased a 2003 CR-V with no discernible markings that differentiate from an EX or LX or whatever, and I'd love to find out all the specs possible for my new purchase. On this site, while trying to provide my personal info, I was presented with a huge plethora of vehicle choices which got me (can you tell?) very confused. Just trying to figure out what I have. Is there any way, by way of VIN#, door stickers, secret handshakes :)-)) that tell me exactly what I bought?
Hate to be a newbie pain in the butt, and I truly appreciate your response, but I'm still in 'No-know' land here.

Don't know if this will help any but...

The CR-V second-generation series hit the road from 2002 to 2006. In those years, the LX included air conditioning, a CD player, power accessories and a driver's seat that had adjustable height. The EX included, in addition to the LX features, side airbags, which became standard on the LX in 2005. Also in the second-generation years, the EX included rear ventilation ducts, a sunroof, in-dash CD changer and alloy wheels.

Starting In 2005, the LX included anti-lock brakes, while the EX included anti-lock brakes all along. Front-wheel drive was standard in the LX trim in the second-generation, and all-wheel drive was optional. By contrast, all-wheel drive was standard in the EX until 2006, when front-wheel drive became available as an option. Although a five-speed manual transmission was standard for the LX and EX before 2005, starting in that year manual transmission was only available in the EX.

Was there an Owner's Manual in the glovebox?
