2007 Honda CRV - VSA Issue

I have a 2007 Honda CRV EXL with 22" wheels.

When I go too fast and spin out, the Yellow Triangle will light up and cut off your ignition. That seems to be working great, knowing it works.

BUT, I can't seem to turn OFF the VSA.
In order to turn off the VSA, you have to push down on the VSA button and hold for 2 secs. It will then show the Triangle at all times in the instrumental dash.
When I'm pressing down, nothing happens.

My question is. How do i fix this problem? I can't remember if my TPMS light has to do with it or not.

When I have my stock wheels on, it works. But I guess I will find out this winter when I return to my original stock wheels.

Any ideas? :)

Thanks!

Additional: (I found this after posting my thread). I think it answers my question why it's happening. So I guess I need my TPMS sensors on my new 22" wheels?

Yes you need TPMS sensors in any wheel that goes on your car or you'll trip the light and the VSA will be disabled. Yet another system manufacturers and the government feel is required on cars because of idiots who can't properly maintain their vehicles...

You'll have to get new TPMS sensors installed in your 22s and then have them programmed at the dealer. And it has to be at the dealer, they are the only ones who have the software to program the sensors. You're looking at $45/sensor and then whatever the labor is for the install and programming. TPMS and the lack of a manual transmission option really hurt the G3 cars IMO...

Actually there are at least four programing tools that work. Barteq makes one and also makes the NAPA version. Schrader and Ateq also make them.
Unfortunately if you want to buy your own plan on spending around $1500.
If you wanted the Honda computer and software it is available too. You don't want to know how much it costs to maintain the license though.

Any good tire shop should be able to program the sensors. It is part of the law. They are supposed to check that the TPMS is working before they start work and are required to make sure it still is working before you leave. Of course that does not always happen though. Some tire shops will put tires on your car and when the TPMS does not work will tell you to go to Honda. The law says they have to be prepared to correct the problem or they should not have touched your car in the first place.

Also while the sensor price you quoted is typical shop around. I bought four new Honda sensors from Bernardi Honda for about $110 shipped.

For what reason would put 22's on a HONDA? Especially a CRV?
