With so many changes in the 2015 model, I am starting this thread as a jumping point to all specific 2012/14 to 2015 modification pages. Below I will highlight some of the more interesting mods potentially possible based on the 2015 changes. Each model will be linked to its specific thread once created.

UPDATE: Parts Catalog now online for 2015 model:
http://estore.honda.com/honda/parts/select-your-honda.asp?year=2015&dl=#4

-2015 headlights + grille conversion. Likelihood: Low. Seems to require front bumper replacement too.
-2015 front bumper + fog lights conversion. Likelihood: Low. Costly, requires painting bumper, and seems to require grille and headlight replacement too.
-2015 rear bumper + tail lights + chrome garnish conversion. Likelihood: Medium. Costly, and requires painting bumper.
-2015 dash soft-touch surface conversion. Likelihood: Low. Dash is one piece, would require entire dash replacement.
-2015 center console + rear A/C conversion. Likelihood: Medium.
-2015 18" alloy wheel (touring) conversion. Likelihood: High. Still need to determine compatibility with TPMS sensors on 2012/13 models, and effect of no TPMS on a 2014 model.
-2015 sliding sun visor conversion. Likelihood: High. Note that reportedly, 2015 models have 2 liner color options, whereas previously only one color was available. It is confirmed that one of the colors on 2015 visor/liner is a perfect match!
-2015 home link conversion. Likelihood: Medium. May require modifying liner, or a new headliner
-2015 door seal / sound deadening conversion. Likelihood: Medium. Some parts may be swapped, such as door liners.
-2015 side mirror w/LED (touring) conversion. Likelihood: High. Looks like a swappable part. Will require custom wiring.
-2015 push button start conversion. Likelihood: Low.
-2015 power tailgate conversion. Likelihood: Low. Looks to be a costly and complex endeavor.
-2015 third stop light (red instead of clear) conversion. Likelihood: High. Simple swap.
-2015 auto dimming mirror conversion. Likelihood: High. Will require wiring.
-2015 shifter and trim conversion. Likelihood: High. Looks to be a simple swap.
-2015 dashboard faux trim conversion: Likelihood: High. Looks to be a simple swap.

If there are any other items worth including in this list, please respond in this thread and I will add it.

Hi Wolf or anyone

Any word or ideas on installing this kit? Complexity, time required or cost estimate?

I am not really a DIY'er, but am planning on a 14 EX L purchase as soon as we can get our personal finances straight and would like to add this capability.

Just had a thought--Would installing this feature have any impact on the new car warranty?

This is for the US CR-V - No access to any other versions.

Bad news for the mods - I got to touch a 2015 EX-L Navi while it was undergoing the PDI at the dealer. It had Bridgestone Dueller tires with the new wheel design.

The front grill H is not enclosed as some have suggested - it is just like the 2013 H just higher up - it might be on the Touring as I have not see a Touring yet

Headlight is different shape than my 2013 - you would have to put the new front grille on with new headlights

The mounting for the new front end grille is different from the 2013 - the grille mounts behind the bumper extends about 2.5 inches farther out each side from the center of the vehicle and the front brace extend out to allow a 5 star front offset crash.

The tail light is not interchangeable as the 2013 have a sharp V pattern and the 2015 is a curved pattern - the rear glass is different too - the rear chrome for a 2015 cannot be used on the 2013 - the 3rd brake light in red form the 2015 can be used on the 2013.

The plastic over the spark plugs is larger on the Earth Dreams engine and says Earth Dreams - other than that the EX-L looks the same under the hood.

You lose a lot of space in the console to the rear A/C vent - but there is room for a square tissue box in the console armrest - It is deep but not as useful - there is an HDMI port in the EX-L console armrest.

The cheapest way to make your 2013 / 2014 look like a 2015 is to trade it in for a 2015.

^ the easiest thing to do is to swap the front fascia, the electronic stuff is really not worth doing, but I am not trading my 2014 for a 2015 no way, that would raise up my payments I am content with my basemodel, especially after getting an iphone 6 which puts pandora in accessory mode, I get album art in the mid... NOT to mention while it is docked I can have my phone in the cupholder and say "hey siri, do this do that etc..."

Thanks Larry, very good insight into what is possible and what is not. I had intentionally paired some of the mods together figuring out that some of these things had to be done in tandem. The grill mounting points is a definite let down.

Because bluetooth is the primary service for the hands free link and has priority over the radio. you have to tell the phone not to start playing music when connected or the phone will start the music program. Your phone is just a dumb computer doing what it was programmed to do - just like the car is a computer doing what it was programmed to do. USB is just another radio function.

All other functions are afterthoughts and were not well though out.

Member here by the name of Luan had it installed at a shop I believe. Don't recall labor costs. Warranty is a good question which I don't know the answer to. I wouldn't think so but I could also see a dealer using that as their "out" for not doing warranty work and charging you for something.

I'm thinking we can use our current TPMS sensors in those touring wheels?

2014 and newer wheels do not contain TPMS sending units and have no room for other than regular valve stems - TPMS on newer CR-V is done by difference in time detected by the anti-lock brake sensors - the same crappy way that Toyota does it. Advantage - no need to learn TPMS id's any more - disadvantage - very sensitive to dirt on the anti-lock sensors - to see the problems just follow the TPMS thread for 2014. All the software fix does is allow for up to 3 bad spots on the Anti-lock brake sensors to be mapped out of the timing loops.

I realized the 2014's don't have a physical sensor but there's no room for a sensor at all on 2014+ wheels? That's a bummer.

I would not be surprised if Discount Tire ( or the like ) would not have stems that could be fitted into the valve stem hole to mate to the earlier TPMS sensors. It is sort of like the steel wheels vs the alloy wheels - they have different stems for the same TPMS sensor. I know the Honda ones do not thread in correctly.

Have you actually tried to mount a sensor on a 2015 rim?

The only difference between a "TPMS" rim and a normal is the rim for TPMS equipped models that it is counterbalanced to offset the weight of the sensor.

You can still mount sensors on non TPMS rims.

Sort of correct - the Alloy have a square (ok, rectangle shaped) area behind the Valve stem hole to accommodate the TPMS device - without it the TPMS valve stem is too short, the missing metal balances the wheel. All Honda rims will still accommodate a regular valve stem insert even when designed to be used with a TPMS sending unit.

I have some very BAD NEWS:
I contacted College Hills Honda, and had them look into the possibility of swapping 2015 headlight assemblies with the 2012/24. Their response is definitive:
"We are well aware of the interest level on the 2015 headlamps. We’ve had people asking very similar questions to yours the past week. The best we have been able to tell thus far is the entire front end of the vehicle would need to be swapped (if that is possible). The distance between the edge of the hood to the bumper is different between both vehicles indicating that a 2015 grille will not simply drop in to a 2012-2014 model. Due to cost factors we do not have plans to test a full front end conversion. However, if we learn of any new details we will be sure to pass along that information."
