2012 Honda CRV issues?

I have a 2012 and have had zero issues really with mine. It has never left me stranded, and works well. Aside from the battery, the only other issue that I'm aware of is the VTC actuator. It doesn't do any damage, just is noisy at times when starting, usually when it is cold, for a split second upon the first start of the day. And it doesn't do it every time. The repair that Honda came out with didn't work. The issue affects other cars too that have the same motor, it isn't just the CR-V. Link below is a whole thread on the issue. I personally have never had any issues tied to the battery.

Had 2012 touring- zero issues other heater core flush ones done under warranty
Forgot about that one. After mine was done properly it works perfect.

Google "heater core tsb on crv" and it will be the first thing that comes up. Really not a big deal to fix if it is done properly and the cleaner is run through for the amount of time that Honda requires. My first experience at a dealer for this issue didn't resolve it and my dash cam recorded their whole issue of them not doing it right. If I recall the cleaner is supposed to be cycled for 1.5 hours, they did it for 25 minutes. Filed a complaint with Honda Corporate and they had me take it to another dealer and they fixed it right.
