2012 Honda CRV doesn't have the 2014 map update available yet. Years upto 2011 do but not 2012. Did you find the update for purchase anywhere?

Our second CR-V with Nav and we've gotten email Nav update offers from Honda.
IIRC the last one was $149.Update and install for $149?I don't know.Haven't bought one yet.Probably will every 3 years.

Has anyone purchased the 2014 map update from www.hondanavi.com/yellowservice? Does it have any improvements/changes/new road changes? I have a 2013 CRV and the map that came with it was already out of date. I will purchase this update if it has the multitude of improvements made since around 2011.

 

Hmmm.... looks like either most hondaownersclub users do not favor the built-in nav, or most Touring/Nav drivers are not computer-savvy, or both.

...thinking about purchasing the 2020 map update for my 2012 CRV, wondering if it’s just a data update or an overall performance update...meaning improved visuals and interface?
