I don’t know how to link this thread to the discussion regarding plastic dipping, painting or replacing front grill so I’ve brought it to the front to highlight it.

Thought Dark Knights solution was pretty good and cost effective.

Glad you like it. That's all that matters but honestly I don't think anyone else would ever notice the diff, even other CRV owners. Looks like you did a nice job of install.

Just a quick test fit for the moment as the car is filthy and needs proper detailing....again. (That'll have to wait until the end of the month.

Thoughts?

First pic is just the "fatter" grille around the "H" logo.

The second includes coverage of the silver trim extension into the headlight. I'm not sure about this one though to be honest.

Feedback/critique welcome!

How much is it as the link you sent earlier is no longer listed.
I saw this one:

and this one:

Also any idea where to get something to cover this trim that is carbon fiber looking?

If you need details on fitting, please just ask. Very simple.
Isn't it just a direct fit with 3m? They countered with $95 so I doubt this specific seller will sell it for $60 which sucks. I'll look for other sellers later, unless you stumble upon your old seller.

EDIT: I asked for $60, they have it listed for $88, and they countered with $95.. what lol?

Yes, 3M, but because the grille on the car is curved, this Chinese copy is not and takes a bit of persuasion to conform to that curve.

In the end, I used a hair dryer to warm up the plastic to make it a little more flexible and that did the trick.

As for the ebay seller pricing....thats ebay for you I guess! Depends how bad you want to buy it!

Yeah I haven't decided what route I want to go. I'm in the process of buying a 2018 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD and a 2003 Mazda Miata MX. I want to upgrade both of the vehicles but haven't decided which yet. For the CR-V I want to do red leather, a starlight headliner, wheels, upgraded audio + infotainment system, etc. For the Miata I want to widebody it and literally change everything. Either way my bank account is going to be zero by the end of next year.

@BoostedV added some glorious red leathers/covers to his CR-V. He has a post somewhere / drop him a message.

Interesting you say that about the infotainment system, I hope to rip mine out next year when the warranty ends too.

Yeah I saw his seats, looked great. Ironically we both were looking at the same company and what not but the red I plan to do is a little bit darker. I ordered a Joying 10.1 Infotainment System. I know there are better things out there but I wanted to give it a try.

Look forward to hearing about your experiences with that.

Also, on the grille, always worth removing the adhesive it comes supplied with and replace with 3M tape.
