I recently bought this honda crv 2010 and there was no aux port and no 12V power outlet, there were these caps covering them. What can I do?

Ugh, that stinks. I guess that option wasn’t purchased by the original owner? If I were you I would go to a junkyard like U-Pull-It and try and find a Gen 3 V with all the things you need, 12V/Aux Plug as well as any associated wiring/etc. Presumably you could piece it all together from Honda parts or used on eBay, but buying it all in one place would simplify things and physically taking it all off a doaner car would teach you how to install it on yours.

I have never installed a 12V/Aux port on a 2010 Honda CR-V either, so I can’t give you any specifics, but, in general…

the 12 V plug is going to have two wires going to it, one comes from the positive post on the battery and should be fuse protected, the second goes to a ground or the negative post on the battery. I’m hoping you can just grab the plug, and possibly a wiring harness and plug it in. Again, taking the parts off a doaner car will tell you exactly where it should plug in.

The Aux plug should have one wire that runs to the back of the radio, but again, exactly where/how will be evident when you get the plug/wire from the junkyard. Your radio says “CD/Aux” so I’m hoping you DON’T have to grab the radio from the yard as well.

The console itself isn't that hard to remove.
this video (sorry its not in english) shows the 4 screws to remove and the wiring connector. my console looks different (08 ex-l version) but maybe this is an overseas version, but mine removes the same way. I see replacements can be had at pick your parts yards for about 30 bucks and i assume that would include all the electronics you would need

First off, I apologize for sending you on a goose chase/making you spend money at the junkyard.

I’m assuming because your car wasn’t shipped with the 12V/Aux port, your wiring harness doesn’t support those features. So, you could still theoretically add these functions, but it’s going to cost so much money and you’re going to have to replace so many parts it’s not worth it. You could go grab the wiring harness/radio out of the doaner car, but again, not really worth it.

Another option is the use the factory 12 V/Aux plugs, but wire them in yourself/not using the factory harness.
