There have been threads about earlier CR-V ANC disabling. I have a 2020 Hybrid with its Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System, which makes a rather annoying (for safety. to be sure) noise when the car is is anything other than Park and driving less than 22mph. Is there a way to disable the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System, as this is my wife's car and her hearing is SO sensitive, she HATES this noise?

You have ti press the toggle (if it has one) to disable it each time u start the car i believe.
its a federal regulation so unless u jump it or customize a trigger at ignition i think ur gonna have to listen to your wife whine when your honda does

I just found out that the AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System) speaker is located right behind the passenger side fog light. There is a pipe conducting the sound from the speaker to the bottom of the car, where there is a circular opening with some kind of grill. I saw the 2-pin connector but...
