Hey guys!

I'm having Honda CRV 2.4L with K24A1 engine with automatic transmission. Having a lot of problems with it, and repairing it is really expensive.
I have found another engine but it is 2.0L K20A4.

My question is can I do a engine swap here?
Also, I researched that Accord have same 2.4 engine. Anyone tried to put that one in CRV? Is that even possible?

Thanks a lot!!

Short answer, if you do an engine swap, replace it with what is already in it. You would be asking for problems otherwise.

Nope. You cannot put a k20 in them.

Except for a blown engine nothing on a K24 is expensive to fix. Buying another engine and paying to have it installed is going to cost more.

Accord does NOT have the same engine. It's a K24A4. They can be made to work but again, going to cost a lot more than just fixing your engine (depending on what's wrong with yours)
