I've had Weathertech window deflectors on my last three CR-Vs - 1999 EX, 2006 EX, and they were one of the first accessories I ordered for my 2014 EX.

I've never had a problem with them, although once they were installed I did not remove them.
And they do allow you to open the windows slightly when it's raining.

But...do not leave your windows open when it snows, as the snow will blow in "under" the deflectors, which makes a mess to clean up. :BigGrin:

At night my CR-V is parked outside, so yes.
And at this time of year, mostly yes, and the temps here are still a bit cool.
Once it warms up some I'll be cracking the windows most of the time.

 

Weathertech does not make them for the Gen 5 CR-V.

Is your worry that the tape will fail? I had some stick-ons on my S10 P/U that I installed in 2003/04, and they were both firmly in place when I sold it this year.

I am not concerned about the deflector. I care about the car door and the damage it could make to the window seals and the motor.
