thats great it worked out ,can you post a link of the plug and sandwich, will help someone in the future that this happens to
269832 is the part number.....it is a bit too big, so you have to file down the metal edge a little....also, a slighly smaller rubber sleeve......and just twist it in, and it expands to tighten up the hole. revved it up to 5000 rpm....no leaks. oil sandwich link coming soon.....

and here is the correct threading for the 2nd generation CRV, and probably a ton of other honda and accura models for the oil filter sandwich: https://www.glowshiftdirect.com/oil-filter-sandwich-adapter-20mm-1-5-thread/

since it uses 1/8NPT on the sandwich, you will have to search (i found one on ebay) for a female 1/8BSPT to 1/8 NPT male adapter....that way, you can twist your oil sensor (which is 1/8 BSPT), into the female brass adapter, then the 1/8 NPT Male on your adapter fits into a sandwich port. The other 3 ports were not used, so the kit from glowshift includes 'bolts' to plug the holes.....all threadings were tightened with teflon tape, per the instrustions from glowshift.

so far, so good.....still have the functionality of my oil pressure switch (and could easily add an oil pressure gauge later by using another port) and, I didn't have to worrry about metal shavings since I didn't re-thread anything.

Considering the ease and minimal cost, I thought it was worth a try, and will see how it holds up.

ok....bad news.....was attempting to do a simple update, oil switch was leaking.

bought a new one, put teflon on it, threaded it in, tightened a bit....started car and oil was leaking badly out of there.....

shut off car, tightened a bit more, heard a 'crack' sound.......then, new switch would not tighten....then, a piece of the metal that has part of the threading broke off......

am i completely screwed and there is no fix?'

2002 CRV AWD 5 speed 165k miles.

See my recent post, it might help you. I hope so.
