On black XXR 521s. Re-using stock 17 rubbers. Will try 245/60/17s once origs are done. Not really too keen on upping rim diameter due to cost and ride quality. But the orig wheels definitely needed more width. Hoping my final setup ends up muucchhh wider. For now it's already sticking out more from the fenders. Just need more width.
any info on rims? planning to do what you did. just change the rims and keep the orig tires. i like the wider stance look.

New set of kicks Andros N1 18x8 +38 on Falken G4 Pro 235/55r18 From stock 215/70r16 the ride is a little firmer but less road noise. The handling is night and day no more roll. The braking feels more solid as well

Finally got a chance to have a staggered set.
Volk race Gramlights57.

*Front 18x7.5 +48.
*Rear 18x8.5 +45.
Planning to powder coat this White.
Original paint is still good I will decide after a thorough clean. :)

But still need to grab a set of tires.
Im thinking go with:
*Front 235/55r18.
*Rear 245/55r18.

Will be going to my 4th. gen
H&R lowering springs will be install together with this rims next season.

Opinion and suggestion for tire size is welcome.
Thank you CR-V/OC.

4th. gen AWD owners this is my share for my rims and tires experience.

Above: *LX AWD Oem steelies 16x6.5 +50jj on 215/70r16 (My winter set.)

Below: *Niche Essence rims 22x9 +38 on 265/35r22.
Got this sold accelerate and break like crap, Rub and damage my left quarter panel black plastic trim (wheel well)
This set-up, the front tires will stick out about an inch and if the road is wet and muddy expect the car sides will always be dirty.
I would honestly suggest not to go with 22" and above if your CRV is for daily driver.

Above: *Hyundai Sta. Fe rims. 19x7.5jj +50 on 235/55r19.
Rides good no rubbing. Got this sold because I think once my H&R springs installed these will rub tires too tall for the rear.

All picture above is still on stock suspension 4th gen. AWD

Just my 02. for the 4th gen. I think 20" is the biggest rims and tires you can do if your CRV is for daily driver.

Hope this helps.
Thank you.

2wd or 4wd?

Hopefully not. I will use them only for summer time. Choose this size thinking not to go crazy low offset and crazy wide tires and rims.

For almost 3-years i owned and driving my CRV i only felt once that the AWD engaged (winter time) when i am trying to get out of the parking and it moves only like a couple of feet long. After that i didn't felt it again even if i am intentionally want to.
