Hi all, first post here - nice forum.

I would appreciate if you guys could post pics of the V in the new green color. I think I like the color a lot, but I haven't had a chance to see it in the sunlight - or in any daylight for that matter.

I'm supposed to take delivery of a '17 Touring tonight. The color I really want is blue (OBP), which is what my current Pilot is. I love the color. Unfortunately my dealer can't find one for me.

So now I'm torn between green (DOM) and gunmetal (GMM). I never thought I'd want a green vehicle, but it sure looked sharp the other night under the dealers lights.

Any help is appreciated!

Looked at a few CR-Vs yesterday on a dealer lot on a heavy overcast day when they all looked dark gray! There was one Olive car that I mistook for black. I was most interested in Modern Steel, and that also looked darker than I expected (made me wonder how Gunmetal could be between that shade and straight black). I'll definitely stop by again on a sunny day if we ever get one.

A good place to search for the vehicles that you are interested in is cars.com. You can narrow the selection right down to the color. Not all dealers post here, but most of them do so it's a good way to check out many dealers' inventories all in one place.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm kind of locked in to a specific dealer since I'm friends with the sales guy and one of the mechanics. Plus they've already got my $2k and the deal is all worked out. Now I'm just waiting for the phone to ring so I can go take delivery of either a DOM or OBP Touring.

I've found the best images of the colors in YT vids. The more I see that Dark Olive, the more I want it!

Bought my EXL navi in DOM a few weeks ago. Luckily the dealer had most of the colors except the sandstorm. We picked the DOM because the black trim blends with the color, and I already have a 2014 in alabaster silver which looks pretty good with the contrast of the black trim. The gunmetal looked good also.

I own a Dark Olive Touring. I was certain that I wanted Graphite or Modern Steel. My dealer hot the Dark Olive in on the same shipment as a Graphite and it was love at first sight. Dark Olive just looks different and special in a way that the greys didn't. I could not be happier and love the color more every day. I actually had someone stop and come into my office asking about my car and he went on and on about the color. I am happy to post pics if anyone is interested as it's a hard color to fully "get" so just message me if you would like me to...

Olive and Molten Lava were the two colors that I was NOT going to even consider. Then again, that's just my personal preference. There must be SOME reason why Honda makes greens and oranges... probably because the competition (Nissan & Toyota) does so they have to too. Some people like being different-er than everyone else.

Here some photos of my Dark Olive Metallic 2017 CR-V AWD Touring :). I know these photos are late for the person that created this thread, but I figure it'll help anyone searching for so more photos of this color on the 2017 CR-V.

I bought the OBP and like the color a lot, my wife liked the olive better but I'm just not a green guy.

A coworker just bought an olive CRV and the more I see it the better I like it. It has a very nice
Green tint in the right light but almost looks black most the time. Still glad I waited for the dealer to find me exactly the color I really wanted

I love our Dark Olive. In the sun, you can see the green; if it's overcast, then it looks like a super-deep brown or near black. Since others have posted pics showing the "green mode", here are some under an overcast sky where it is in "near black" mode. I love how it changes.

Dark Olive looks black, or maybe black with a layer of pollen, in the shade. Beautiful and sparkly in the sun. I kind of wish it were a regular olive or dark green, but I like it. At least it's unique, I really wanted a change from the immense sea of white/grey/black cars out there.

Came across a DOM yesterday and two of the OBPs. If my wife hadn't been so set on white with the ivory leather, we definitely would've gone with the DOM with ivory. It's a great color and almost looks black so once you look closer, seeing the green in it is a nice surprise.
